Minutes of Toynton St Peter Annual Parish Meeting held on Wednesday 18th May 2023 at Toynton Village Hall, Eastville Road, Toynton St Peter commencing at 7pm

PRESENT:    Four Toynton St Peter Parish Councillors
        ELDC Cllr T Taylor
        LCC Cllr W Bowkett
        Toynton St Peter Parish Council Clerk

1    NOTES OF THE ANNUAL PARISH MEETING HELD ON THURSDAY 19th MAY 2022 TO BE APPROVED AS THE MINUTES
It was proposed by Toynton St Peter Parish Councillor Kale, seconded by Toynton St Peter Parish Councillor Elliott and resolved to accept these notes as a true and accurate record.

2    FOR ANY MEMBERS OF THE PARISH TO SPEAK, ASK QUESTIONS OR MAKE ANY STATEMENTS
ELDC Cllr Taylor informed that he was unopposed at the recent District Council election therefore will continue as District Councillor for the Halton Holegate ward. He went on to report the following:
•    50 years of the Wolds is being celebrated over the next few weeks with approximately 150 events occurring around the area.
•    Skegness has been awarded a blue flag along with Mablethorpe and Sutton on sea.
•    The Drainage Board has again put pressure on the budget which has been passed on to the District Council. The three members of the South-East Partnership leaders took their case to the General Government of which £1.5m has been awarded to the group to aid with this of which £927,000 will be awarded.

LCC Cllr Bowkett reported the following:
•    The Spring Covid Booster is now available of which to receive this you will need to make an appointment before June.
•    There is a Three-year plan in place with Highways of which £7m has been budgeted for the rural roads of which hopefully, changes in the area will be seen soon.
